WKU baseball announces youth summer camps

Western Kentucky celebrates a run in the Tops’ 3-2 win against the Louisville Cardinals in 10 innings at Nick Denes Field on Tuesday.

Western Kentucky baseball and head coach Marc Rardin have announced their upcoming camp dates for the months of June and July.

The Hilltoppers are set to host two Summer Youth Baseball Schools for ages 6-12, each one will last four days for up to three hours a day at Nick Denes Field.

The first Summer Youth Baseball School is set it begin on June 3 and last until June 6, while the second Summer Youth Baseball School is set to begin on July 8 and last until July 11. Each four-day program will begin at 9 a.m. and finish at noon. These camps will teach fundamentals including pitching, hitting, baserunning and fielding. Campers will learn many of the drills used daily by the WKU baseball team.
