Russellville rolls to 43-0 shutout win over Bears

Russellville’s Jacolbie Mason scored a pair of touchdowns to lead the visiting Panthers to a 43-0 shutout football win Saturday over Butler County.
Mason opened the scoring with a 56-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, then struck again in the second quarter when he hauled in a 40-yard touchdown pass from Jacob Naylor.

The Panthers scored 21 points in the second quarter. After Robey’s touchdown catch, Javaren Robey tallied a 17-yard touchdown run and Zay Coleman returned a blocked punt 30 yards for another score to help Russellville (2-1) build a 27-0 halftime lead.
Edward Barber added a 12-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, and Damon Hales capped the scoring with a 15-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Russellville returns to action Friday at home against Logan County. Game time is 7 p.m.
Butler County (0-3) is at Apollo on Friday. Game time is 7 p.m.

Glasgow 41, Fort Campbell 3
Senior quarterback Dalvin Smith passed for two touchdowns and ran for two more to pace host Glasgow to a 41-3 win over Fort Campbell on Saturday.
Smith finished with 196 passing yards and two TDs, plus ran for 134 yards and a pair of scores.
Glasgow’s Sielverio Rescontellio tallied 71 rushing yards and a touchdown, and Dontavis Oats added 70 rushing yards and a TD for the Scotties.
Glasgow (3-0) is back in action Friday at Allen County-Scottsville. Game time is 7 p.m.
