Allen County climbs into boys’ poll
After a 2-0 start to the season, the Allen County-Scottsville boys’ basketball team enters this week’s Bowling Green Daily News Area Top 10 poll at No. 6.
ACS picked up wins over South Warren and Russellville to start the season and will look to go 3-0 when it hosts Greenwood on Thursday.
Warren Central remains a unanimous No. 1 in the boys’ poll, with Bowling Green second.
Clinton County moves up a spot to third, edging Glasgow, with Greenwood holding in fifth.
ACS is followed by Barren County, Logan County, Monroe County and Warren East to round out the boys’ poll.
In the girls’ poll, Barren County is a unanimous No. 1 with Bowling Green second and South Warren third. Allen County-Scottsville is fourth, while Glasgow holds in fifth.
Russell County, Logan County, Edmonson County, Greenwood and Metcalfe County round out the girls’ poll.
