Reynolds, Spartans shutout Warren Central in three innings

Emily Reynolds tossed a no-hitter Tuesday as South Warren handled Warren Central in a 17-0 win in three innings.

Reynolds needed just 46 pitches to put away the Dragons and ended the night with five strikeouts and two walks. South Warren scored 13 runs in the first inning and four in the second to wrap up the night early.

Elly Bennett had a home run and a double for the Spartans (10-6 overall, 1-2 District 14). Reynolds had three hits while Jessica Bush and Taylor Enlow also had multiple hits.

Warren Central (0-8, 0-3) has been shut out in four of its last six games.

Warren East 10, Bowling Green 2

Katie Gardner struck out 10 and the Lady Raiders remain undefeated after topping Bowling Green 10-2.

Kelsey Sparks, Jeyda Beys and Lucy Patterson each had three hits for Warren East (18-0, 4-0).

Bowling Green (7-9, 0-2) has lost five straight ahead of hosting South Warren on Thursday.
