Lady Purples volleyball sweeps Logan County

Bowling Green won its third straight volleyball match by sweeping Logan County 3-0 on Monday. The Lady Purples (11-6) won 25-17, 25-19, 27-25.
Logan County (8-7) kept the second set tight by trailing 17-14 before Bowling Green pulled away.
The Lady Cougars didn’t go away easily in the third set, tying it at 18-all and 24-all before Bowling Green pulled out the 27-25 win to clinch the sweep.
Bowling Green travels to South Warren on Thursday while Logan County is at Russellville on Tuesday.

Fort Campbell 1
Laura Hasani scored five goals to help South Warren roll by Fort Campbell 11-1 on Monday night. Sofia Hasani had three goals and Kailee Nobles added two scores in the Spartans’ third straight win.
Kinsey Nelson had a goal and six assists for South Warren (7-6), which plays Monday at Greenwood.
Glasgow 1,
Warren East 0
Autumn Copass scored the only goal Glasgow needed in a 1-0 shutout win over Warren East. Dinah Miranda assisted the goal for the Lady Scotties (6-6).
Warren East (6-6) travels to Logan County on Thursday. Glasgow will host District 15 foe Barren County on Thursday.
