A near double-double by Braden Wall wasn’t enough for Edmonson County, which fell to Owensboro Catholic 48-31 in the Region 4 Boys’ Basketball Tournament quarterfinals Wednesday at the Owensboro Sportscenter.

Wall, a senior forward, finished with 10 points and nine rebounds for the Wildcats in the loss.

Joshua Decker added six points and nine rebounds, and Will Alexander also had six points for Edmonson County (18-13).

Brian Griffith finished with a game-high 15 points and Parker Gray added 14 points for Owensboro Catholic (27-5).
