WKU wraps up first day at Little Rock Invitational

Western Kentucky’s track and field teams wrapped its first day of competition at the Little Rock Invitational on Friday evening at Coleman Sports Complex in Little Rock, Arkansas.

WKU’s Aitana Safont Falomir finished second in the women’s hammer throw with a distance of 54.85 meters.

On the men’s side, the Hilltoppers’ Kaison Barton and Luke Stegman finished fifth and sixth respectively in the men’s hammer throw. Barton charted a distance of 60.48 meters, while Stegman topped out at 54.27 meters.

WKU will continue competition at the Little Rock Invitational on Saturday. The meet can be streamed live on ESPN+ starting at 1 p.m. CT.
