Buckets of Hope…an annual Family Enrichment Center fundraiser….will be going on in the Bowling Green City, Warren County and Barren County schools from January 24th through February 4th. Just by tossing loose change into the buckets provided by Purity Dairy…you can help the Family Enrichment Center “empower families and prevent child abuse” in the Barren River Region.

The top fundraising classroom and/or club in each school will be awarded a meal from WENDY’S, including a free Frosty. The top fundraising school overall will receive a visit from Nascar Driver, Stuart Kirby, an ice cream party from BRUSTER’s, and gift certificates. Family Enrichment Center’s mission is to empower families and prevent child abuse. Sadly, from July 2009 through June 2010, there were 982 children who were physically, sexually or emotionally abused or neglected in the Barren River Region. In 2007, Kentucky was ranked # 1 in the nation for child deaths. We think you agree that this is unacceptable. Now more than ever, Family Enrichment Center needs your support to make life safer for children in our region.
