SCOTTSVILLE – Maybell Keith Berry, 85, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024 at her residence. The Warren County, KY native was born October 22, 1939 in the Three Forks Community where she joined Martinsville Missionary Baptist Church at the age of 10.

Maybell is a member of North Warren High School Class of 1958, former member of Meador Homemakers, a member of the Humane Society of the United States, and retired employee of General Electric and A.O. Smith. She was a life-long animal lover, she fed every stray that passed her door giving most of them a forever home. She was a daughter of the late Ulric Keith and Angie Lawrence Keith and wife of the late Noah “Jamup” Berry.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Sheila Meeks (Mike), Bowling Green, KY; Shannon Stewart (Terry), Scottsville, KY; 5 grandchildren: Lindsay Meeks; Lisa Johnson (Marshall); Melissa Meeks; Devin Stewart (Kara); Logan Stewart (Kayla); 6 great grandchildren: Leona Johnson, Emmy Johnson, Abby Stewart, Noah Stewart, Parker Johnson and Cooper Johnson; her beloved cat: Rowdy.

She was preceded in death by 5 sisters: Susie Bossard, Geneva Keith, Guynell Wiegel, Elizabeth Beyer, June Smith; 2 brothers: Kenneth Keith and Joe Keith.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Devin Stewart, Logan Stewart and Mark Hale officiating and burial in Martinsville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Martinsville Cemetery. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
