Franklin Ratliff Dunn, 78, of Bowling Green died Aug. 22, 2004, at a local nursing home.

The Morgan County native was a retired pharmaceutical salesman for UpJohn Pharmaceuticals, attended Morehead State University and was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church. He was a son of the late Marvin Dunn and Elizabeth Ratliff Dunn. He was preceded in death Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara McDaniel Dunn; three sons, Frank E. Myers of Rock Springs, Ga., Michael R. Dunn of Lexington and Mark D. Dunn of Apex, N.C.; two daughters, Deborah D. Medalie of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Rebecca D. Moore of Bowling Green; three sisters, Ruth Cowan of Columbus, Ohio, Doris Pollitte of Sarasota, Fla., and Pat Current of Lexington; eight grandchildren, Joshua Franklin Moore of Bowling Green, Caroline Grace Dunn, Andrew Mark Dunn and Zachary Kenneth Dunn, all of Apex, Philip Ratliff Dunn and Parker McDaniel Dunn, both of Lexington, Laurie Gipson of Slidell, La., and Mary Beth Myers of Rock Springs, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
