M. Ruth Butler, 89, of Bowling Green died at 9:40 a.m. Feb. 14, 2004, at The Medical Center.The Warren County native was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church and a beloved wife and mother. She was a daughter of the late Joe Roberson and Mollie Moates Roberson and the wife of the late Leonard M. Butler. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Anna Ruth Butler; a son, Jerry Wayne Butler; three sisters, Irene Motley, Pauline Hill and Ethel Hunt; and a brother, Bill Roberson.Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Wade Vinson and her husband, Forest Wayne Vinson, of Bowling Green and Sandra Kaye Butler-Larino and her husband, John Leonard Larino, of Chatham, N.J.; a grandson, Jesse Wallace Vinson of Bowling Green; and several nieces and nephews.
