Elvis Bolton, 89, of Bowling Green died at 7:30 p.m. June 15, 2006, at his residence.

The Edmonson County native was a farmer. He was a son of the late V.G. Bolton and Alice Huff Bolton. He was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Johnson; and three brothers, Sidney, Elwood and Elbert Bolton.

Funeral is at 1 p.m. Sunday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green chapel, with burial in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation is from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby &#8220Dugan” Jordan Bolton; two daughters, Sharon French and Margaret Lyles and her husband, James, all of Bowling Green; a sister, Nola Mae Mills of Oakland; a brother, Eugene Bolton of Fern Creek; four grandchildren, Lisa Lyles Briscoe of Tupelo, Miss., Sherry Lyles Ledbetter and Robin French Daniels, both of Bowling Green, and Karen Lyles Koons of Sidney, Ohio; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
