William M. McChesney

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — William Mark McChesney, 53, of Tallahassee, died March 24, 2010, at Big Bend Hospice House in Tallahassee.

He was born Sept. 23, 1956. He was a graduate of Western Kentucky University and Florida State University. He was a son of Lorraine Durey, who survives, and the late Kelsey Harold McChesney. He was preceded in death by three nephews, Danny Cooksey, Jeffery Madison and James Ennis.

A memorial service is Tuesday at St. Marks Lighthouse in St. Marks. A private family service is planned in Bowling Green, Ky. Culley’s Meadow Wood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Other survivors include a brother, Joe McChesney and his wife, Laverta; four sisters, Carol Tokas, Norma Madison, Kay Boonstra and her husband, Joe, and Elaine McChesney; two nephews, Michael and Andrew Boylan; four nieces, Donna Cooksey, Karen Boonstra, Kim Ennis and Jessica Boylan; a great-niece, Darrien Spitz; seven great-nephews, Justin Spitz, Garrett Hunt, Jimmy Ennis, Ian Ennis, Callan Ennis, J.D. Cooksey and Michael Huffman; and several friends.
