Lonnie G. Thompson

SUMMER SHADE — Lonnie Glenn Thompson, 51, of Edmonton died Nov. 4, 2008, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.

He belonged to Welcome Hill Baptist Church in LeMont, Ill. He was a son of Spencer Thompson and Dorothy Coomer Beck, who survive.

Funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday at Wisdom Faith Church, with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Randolph. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at McMurtrey Funeral Home and begins at 9 a.m. Friday at the church. McMurtrey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Other survivors include a daughter, Reba Thompson of Missouri; a son, Lonnie Glenn Thompson Jr. of Edmonton; two sisters, Brenda Owsley and her husband, Jason, of Glasgow and Bonnie Greene and her husband, Richard, of Oak Park, Ill.; a brother, Timmy Thompson of Edmonton; a grandchild, Payton Pratt; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
