Margaret Hale

GLASGOW — Margaret Hale, 86, of Glasgow died Nov. 19, 2007, at a Glasgow nursing home.

The Barren County native was a former employee of Sorensen Manufacturing. She was a daughter of the late George Thomas McClard and Vivian Avis Harrison McClard and the wife of the late Tommy Hale. She was preceded in death by a son, Ferrell Hale; two daughters, Florene and Clorene Hale; and two brothers, Carlos and Leonard McClard.

Funeral is at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bethel Independent Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial in Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation is in progress at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.

Survivors include a daughter, Delzie Adcock of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two granddaughters, Ashlee and Andrea Adcock; a great-granddaughter, Ava Pack; two brothers, Bernard McClard of Louisville and Dan McClard of Cave City; and three sisters, Sue Betty Shirley of Louisville, Evie Jewell Birge of Austin and Nell Smith of Fountain Run.
