Marvene R. Davis

Marvene Rone Davis, 73, of Bowling Green died at 1:59 p.m. April 30, 2007, at The Medical Center.

The Warren County native was a retired payroll clerk at Fruit of the Loom, where she worked for 45 years. She was a member of Riverside Christian Church, Richardsville Homemakers Club and the Women’s Center at The Medical Center. She was an avid lover of her family, friends and pets. She was a daughter of the late Byron M. Rone and Vessie Elkin Rone.

Funeral is at 10 a.m. Thursday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, with burial in Riverside Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation is from noon to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Charles Davis; two brothers, Byron Keith Rone and his wife, Norene, and Alton Rone and his wife, Linda, all of Bowling Green; a sister, Janell Lawrence and her husband, Larry, of Bowling Green; several nieces and nephews; three aunts, Dorothy Cole Deweese, Gwendolyn Elkin and Thelma Elkin, all of Bowling Green.
