SCOTTSVILLE John O. Johnson, 79, of Scottsville died at 2:32 p.m. Sept. 5, 2000, at The Medical Center.The Allen County native was a retired General Electric employee, a former employee of York and Massey and a World War II Army veteran. He was a son of the late Robert Edward Johnson and Artie Carter Johnson.Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.Survivors include two brothers, James Corbin Johnson of Florida and Ruel Edward Johnson of Indianapolis; a sister, Hazel Pitchford of Scottsville; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
