Local Chiropractor crowned 2010 SCORE Class 2 Desert Racing Champion

Local Chiropractic Doctor, Dr. William “Doc” Eriksen attained a lifelong goal by winning the 2010 Class 2 Points Championship for the SCORE Desert Series.  There are 5 grueling, brutal desert races in the SCORE Desert Series: Laughlin Desert Challenge, San Felipe 250, Baja 500, Terrible’s Primm 300, and the Grand Daddy of them all the Baja 1000
that Doc won in 2009 as Class 2 with his daughter, Dr. Teddi Eriksen.

Doc accepted the award in Irvine California at the 2010 SCORE Awards Banquet on December 11th, 2010 surrounded by his wife Sarah, son Max, daughter Teddi and members of Team Eriksen.  “This is a great moment!  To win this series is the result of many years of hard work, sweat and blood.  My family and my team share in this accomplishment and helped make all this possible!  Their support over the years has been invaluable and so deeply appreciated.”  said Doc.

Doc is not resting on his laurels; he is in preparation for the 2011 Desert Series.  The 17th annual SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge is January 14-16th in Laughlin, Nevada.  “I am excited to start the new season, this championship adds a little more pressure to repeat our success in 2010.  Team Eriksen, the Dragon Slayers, and Racing for Chiropractic are ready for success in 2011!” commented Doc.
