Western Kentucky University ROTC, Student Veterans Alliance and Bowling Green Athletic Club will sponsor Hamster Bowl 2016 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 25 at Phil Moore Park at 7101 Scottsville Road in Alvaton.

Teams must come 15 minutes early to sign in. The cost to participate is $15 in advance online at familyenrichmentcenter.com and $20 on event day. Proceeds benefit the Family Enrichment Center.

“It was really cool of them to think of us. They believe in what we do, and they know what we do to keep kids safe,” Family Enrichment Center Director of Programs Lynn Hulsey said. “We really appreciate them thinking of us.”

The Hamster Bowl is a five-on-five soccer game played in spheres called KnockerBalls. The event is open to high school youths and adults.
