Riverview at Hobson Grove The Victorian Antique and Garden Festival
Stroll the lawn and enjoy the beautiful flowers by attending the Victorian Antique and Garden Festival on Saturday, May 15th from 10am until 4pm on the grounds of the historic house museum. Shoppers will be able to visit an eclectic variety of booths displaying unique accessories for home and garden, seasonal plants, annuals, and perennials, and Kentucky primitives and antiques.
In addition to visiting the booths, free lectures are held throughout the day. Esli Pelly will speak about Sun Gardening at 10:30am and Carol Schreiber will speak about Victorian Gardens at 1:30pm. Kentucky author and garden designer, Jon Carloftis, will be on hand signing his latest book, Beautiful Gardens of Kentucky.
Bring your antiques and collectibles, an appraiser will be available to appraise items at $10 each or three items for $25.
Box lunches will be available along with Boy Scout popcorn, soda and Chaney’s ice cream.
