Two injured in Logan County accident

An Olmstead man suffered a head injury and an Olmstead woman suffered broken ribs in a two-vehicle accident Sunday in Logan County, according to a news release from the Logan County Sheriff’s Department.

The accident happened at 12155 Clarksville Road just before 1 p.m., resulting in major damage to two vehicles.

Bobby Brown of Clarksville Road was turning left into his driveway when James W. Russell, 2050 Rockcreek Drive, Bowling Green, driving a 2001 Nissan pickup, attempted to pass Brown’s vehicle, striking the 1985 GMC pickup in the rear, the sheriff’s office said.

Brown’s vehicle spun around and came to rest in a ditch along Clarksville Road, facing east.

Russell was not injured. Bobby Brown suffered a head injury and his passenger, Regina Brown, suffered broken ribs.
