Span Tech LLC, a Glasgow-based manufacturer of custom-built plastic chain conveyor systems, opened a new sales and service center and testing facility in Waukesha, Wis.

Span Tech CEO Bud Layne said the expansion will help create better partnerships with clients.

The center will be devoted to service training and product testing.

“This will provide the opportunity to see Span Tech’s conveyors up close and the ability to test product specific to the industry need. The goal is to educate current and future partners on the full capabilities of Span Tech conveyors and where the best applications apply,” said Dale Casper, regional sales manager for Span Tech. 

Span Tech hired Service Sales and Operations Manager Dave Byrnes to oversee day-to-day operations at the new facility.
