Lee Brick & Block, which has been in business for more than 40 years and based in Bowling Green since the 1980s, is changing its name to Lee Building Products.

The new name will be applied to the company’s nine block plants in Kentucky and Tennessee and to its four sales offices across the two states.

Digby Palmer, general manager of the company, said Lee is rebranding in an effort to reflect the changing nature of the business and to bring the Southland Brick & Block locations in Tennessee under the Lee umbrella.

“We have more to offer than brick and block,” Palmer said. “We have showroom centers and block manufacturers.”

Palmer said the company now manufactures stone veneer in addition to traditional brick and block. Lee has locations in Bowling Green, Glasgow, Hopkinsville, Owensboro, Frankfort and Bardstown in Kentucky and in the Tennessee cities of Murfreesboro and Antioch.
