The debut album, Dry Country Blues from John King and SouthBound will be released at Tidballs June 10.  According to King “The music on the CD pulls infuences from AC/DC and Skynyrd type rock to Hank Jr, Waylon and Confederate Railroad type country.”

It was recorded at Barrick recording and mastered at Yes Mastering in Nashville Tn. The cover features photography by Brandon Wilkinson and graphic design by Reid Wilkinson.

In addition to SouthBound band members John King Vocals/Guitar (Sixth Floor), Frankie Froedge (Southern Thunder), Guitar, slide guitar, BJ Hanes (Snake Creek), Bass/vocals and Reid Wilkinson (Hardlife) Drums,  musicians featured on the album include Paul Hatchett, George Collard, Matt Hammer and Greg Martin (Kentucky Headhunters) as well as backing vocals by Sandra Dye-Bunton, Toynnia Dye and Amanda King-Hammock.
