Three injured in 3 separate incidents Thursday
A Bowling Green man was injured Thursday night in a two-car collision at Plano Road and the William H. Natcher Parkway interchange.
Warren County sheriff’s deputies were called to the wreck at 8:23 p.m. Thursday.
A 2003 Kia van driven by Victoria Daniel, 16, of Bowling Green, entered into the path of a 2010 Ford truck driven by Preston Miller, 51, of Bowling Green, as he was driving south on Plano Road, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
The Kia van appeared to have been trying to turn onto the Natcher Parkway from Plano Road and failed to yield to oncoming traffic, according to the release.
Miller was taken by ambulance to The Medical Center, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Earlier Thursday, one person was injured in a three-car collision on Nashville Road at Dillard Road.
At 5:35 p.m., sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene where a Chevrolet Silverado driven by Brandon Yates, 22, of Bowling Green, was turning left onto McLellan Road from Nashville Road and entered into the path of a Honda Accord driven south on Nashville Road by Lucas Farley, 23, of Bowling Green, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office. After the initial collision, the Honda then struck a Mercedes sedan driven by Cedric Gumm, 44, of Bowling Green.
Farley drove himself to an area hospital. A passenger in his car, Clara Farley, 1, was not injured. Yates and Gumm were also not injured in the wreck.
In a separate injury collision Thursday in the 1800 block of Morgantown Road, a Bowling Green man had to be mechanically removed from his car and was flown to TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
At 4:47 p.m. Thursday, sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle collision and determined that a 2003 Honda Accord driven by Khulud Alhajri, 27, of Bowling Green, was turning left onto Morgantown Road from Walnut Creek Drive when Alhajri failed to yield to a Chevrolet Silverado traveling north on Morgantown Road and driven by David Moyers, 42, of Bowling Green, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.
Alhajri had to be mechanically extricated from his vehicle and was treated at TriStar and released.
