Bowling Green swept the team titles Friday at the SKY Conference track and field meet at Greenwood High School.

The boys’ team finished with 117 points, edging runner-up Greenwood by eight points. The Lady Purples finished with 153 points, while runner-up Greenwood had 121 points.

Individual winners on the boys’ side included Logan County’s Sawyer Hopkins in the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash, Russellville’s Jaylyn McMurry in the 400-meter dash, Bowling Green’s Blake Cleary in the 110-meter hurdles, Greenwood’s Sam Ward in the 300-meter hurdles, Bowling Green’s Reed Crocker in the high jump, Warren Central’s Kaleb Metcalfe in the long jump, Russellville’s Johnny Drumgole in the triple jump and Warren Central’s Curtis Johnson in the shot put.

Greenwood’s Gannon Minton, Ismael Acosta, Armin Ramic, and Davis Taylor won the 4×100 meter relay and 4×400 meter relay. Bowling Green’s Deshawn Crowe, Rashad Darden, Devito Tisdale and Miles Smith won the 4×200 meter relay, while the BG team of Crowe, Christopher Grinstead, Brian Kanan and Trajon Hall won the 4×400 meter relay.

Among the girls’ individual winners were Bowling Green’s Z’Nyah Owens in the 100-meter dash, Logan County’s Taleia Mason in the 200-meter dash, Bowling Green’s Samantha Sutton in the 3,200-meter run, Logan County’s Jessica Hines in the 100-meter hurdles and long jump, Bowling Green’s Jasmine Varner in the 300-meter hurdles, Bowling Green’s Layila Robinson in the high jump, Bowling Green’s Nia Dye in the triple jump, Greenwood’s Allison Harper in the shot put, Greenwood’s Madison Duncan in the shot put wheelchair adapted and Logan County’s Lauren Burnett in the discus.

Glasgow’s team of Skyler Burd, Breanna Glover, Ali Grace Hampton and Taya Tamminga claimed victories in the 4×100 and 4×200 meter relays. Logan County’s Bre Baptiste, Anne Meguiar Bouldin, Monica Hines and Meredith Johnson won the 4×400 meter relay, while Greenwood’s Audrey Wiles, Anne Logan Perkins, Madi Daniels and Kelsey Dinning took the 4×800 meter relay.
