Allen County-Scottsville Arts Council hosts free performance by Skip Bond and the Fugitives
At 7:00 pm on Saturday June 26, the Allen County-Scottsville Arts Council will present the second event of its 2010 Arts On Main summer concert series with free performance by Skip Bond and the Fugitives.
Formed in 2000 to play charity and fundraising events, Skip Bond and the Fugitives have expanded its repertoire and following to become the biggest band in Bowling Green, and have cinched the “Best Of Bowling Green” contest/poll every year since 2002.
Skip Bond and the Fugitives is a high energy 8 piece show band, specializing in motown, r&b, and classic rock. With a core membership of such regional celebrities an Steve Wilson, Tommy Holderfield, Tim Hulsey, Jim Decesare, etc., the band plays numerous fundraising events, weddings, birthday parties, golf tournaments, holiday events, outdoor festivals, and corporate events throughout the year across Kentucky and Tennessee.
This free to the public outdoor concert has an adjacent rain locale at the Allen County Cooperative Extension Agency at 200 East Main Street in Historic Downtown Scottsville KY. Bench seating is limited, so be sure to bring enough blankets and lawnchairs for the entire family.
