High school students from Allen, Barren, Butler, Franklin-Simpson, Hart, Logan, Monroe and Warren County Area Technical Centers gathered to compete in the annual Region 5 Skills USA competition at Bowling Green’s Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College on Friday, Feb. 28, 2025. The competition included activities in a variety of occupational skills and leadership areas, including building trades, automotive technology, electrical fields, advanced manufacturing and welding fabrication. Region winners will move on to state and national levels.
