WKU’s Iyiegbuniwe, Darden combine for 26 tackles in loss to Marshall
Western Kentucky redshirt junior linebacker Joel Iyiegbuniwe (South Warren Class of 2014) and redshirt sophomore defensive back Ta’Corian Darden (Russellville Class of 2015) combined for 26 tackles in the Hilltoppers’ 30-23 road loss Saturday to Conference USA rival Marshall in Huntington, W.Va.
Iyiegbuniwe tallied a team-high 15 tackles (five solo), forced a fumble and tallied two tackles for losses totaling six yards.
Darden had 11 tackles (three solo), to rank second on the team.
Also for the Tops, redshirt sophomore linebacker Ben Holt (Bowling Green Class of 2015) had six tackles (three solo) including a sack and 1.5 tackles for losses totaling five yards.
On offense, WKU senior wide receiver Nacarius Fant (Bowling Green Class of 2014) hauled in five catches for 87 yards.
WKU (5-5, 3-3 C-USA) returns to action Friday at home against Middle Tennessee.

Centre college senior quarterback Devin Hayes (Bowling Green Class of 2014) tossed four touchdown passes in his final collegiate game as the Colonels rolled to a 42-17 home win Saturday over Birmingham Southern.
Hayes completed 14 of 21 passes for 298 yards and 4 TDs.
Colonels junior running back Colin Burnam (Warren Central Class of 2015) added two rushing touchdowns in the win. Burnam totaled 38 rushing yards and had one special-teams tackle.
Centre sophomore defensive back Karim Kimble (Glasgow Class of 2016) tallied three tackles in the win.

Lindsey Wilson sophomore defensive lineman Damani Jenkins (Barren County Class of 2015) tied for the team high with six tackles including a sack in the Blue Raiders’ 49-28 win over Mid-South Conference rival Campbellsville on Saturday in Columbia.
Jenkins finished with two tackles for losses totaling nine yards.
Lindsey Wilson, ranked No. 4 in NAIA, captured the MSC Bluegrass Division title outright with the win after completing the first perfect regular season in school history.
Lindsey Wilson (10-0, 6-0 MSC) Nov. 18 at home against Southeastern (Fla.) in the first round of the NAIA playoffs.
Campbellville (7-2) will host Southwestern Assemblies of God (Texas) on Nov. 18 in the NCCAA Victory Bowl.

Union (Ky.) junior linebacker Anthony Kelsey (Warren East Class of 2015) made a team-high 12 tackles in the Bulldogs’ 43-42 home win Saturday over St. Andrews (N.C.).
Kelsey had seven solo stops and two tackles for losses totaling three yards in the season finale for Union (5-5).

Kentucky Wesleyan freshman wide receiver Chauncey Greer (Warren East Class of 2017) hauled in an 11-yard touchdown reception Saturday during the Panthers’ season-ending 40-28 home loss to Alderson-Broaddus (W.Va.).
On defense, KWC sophomore defensive tackle Curtis Johnson (Warren Central Class of 2016) tallied seven tackles (six solo), including two tackles for losses totaling four yards. Panthers freshman defensive back Malcolm Johnson (Greenwood Class of 2017) added five tackles (three solo) and freshman defensive lineman Dalan Cofer (Bowling Green Class of 2017) had four tackles (three solo).
Kentucky Wesleyan finished the season 2-8 overall and 1-6 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.

UK redshirt junior defensive tackle Adrian Middleton (South Warren Class of 2014) added a pass breakup in the win.
Kentucky (7-3, 4-3 SEC) is back in action Nov. 18 at Georgia.

Murray State redshirt sophomore wide receiver Jensen Feggins (Warren Central Class of 2015) tallied two catches for nine yards in the Racers’ 31-21 home win Saturday over Ohio Valley Conference rival Tennessee Tech.
Racers redshirt junior punter Landon Stratton (Logan County Class of 2014) finished with nine punts for 341 yards with a longest of 54 yards and six inside the 20-yard line.
Murray State (3-7, 2-4 OVC) is back in action Nov. 18 at Southeast Missouri.

Indiana State redshirt junior cornerback Rondell Green (Warren Central Class of 2013) tallied nine tackles (three solo) in the Sycamores’ 45-0 home loss Saturday to Western Illinois.
Green added three pass breakups and a fumble recovery.
