The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce is one of three finalists nationwide for the American Chamber of Commerce Executive’s 2019 Chamber of the Year. This marks the sixth time in six years the chamber has been invited to apply for Chamber of the Year and the fourth time in as many years the local chamber has been named a national finalist.

Chambers honored with this designation demonstrate organizational strength and make an impact on such community priorities as education, transportation, business development and quality of life. The award involves a multistage process including a detailed operations survey, application and interview.

The Bowling Green chamber has been a 5-Star accredited chamber by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce since 1972 and helped the city achieve this year a ranking among the best U.S. small cities for business.

Chamber of the Year winners will be announced at the annual ACCE Convention July 14-17 in Long Beach, Calif.
