Maestro Reed and Orchestra Kentucky present Hymnfest IV on Sunday, May 23rd at 3:00 pm.  The concert will be presented at First Baptist Church and is made possible by Mary and Norris Thomas. This ever-popular concert of hymns features the orchestra, choir (under the masterful direction of Richard Suggs) and Reggie and Ladye Love Smith.

You may not recognize their names, but if you’ve seen a Gaither homecoming video, attended a Billy Graham Crusade, listened to Disney’s The Lion King soundtrack, or seen the Grand Ole Opry on television, you’ve heard their incredible voices.  The Smith’s have performed in over 13 countries, and in some of the most exclusive venues in the world, including Super Bowl XXVI, the Kremlin in Moscow, and New York’s Carnegie Hall. They have performed with some of the top talent in both country and gospel music, including Dolly Parton, George Jones, Lee Greenwood, Brenda Lee, Patti LaBelle, Ricky Skaggs, Steven Curtis Chapman, Sandi Patty and Larnelle Harris, to name a few.

 “Reggie appeared with us at the Disney concerts and I was very impressed with his highly professional and engaging performance.  He really wowed the audience,” said Maestro Reed.
