Discover the Natural Arches of Kentucky’s Big South Fork at Warren County Public Library
Come explore the natural arches Big South Fork with Todd and Victor Fife on Thursday, February 4 at 6:00 at the Main Library.
Straddling the Kentucky-Tennessee border, the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area encompasses 125,000 acres of the Cumberland Plateau. The area boasts miles of scenic gorges and sandstone bluffs, and is rich with natural and historic features.
“The Big South Fork area has an abundance of impressive waterfalls, arches, and other rock formations,” says Victor Fife. “This region probably contains more natural arches than any other area in the eastern United States.”
Todd and Victor will focus their presentation on the Big South Fork arches on the Kentucky side of the border.
