Former magistrate donates yearbooks to Alvaton Elementary School
On Monday, a graduate of the now defunct Alvaton High School donated yearbooks to Alvaton Elementary School.
Robert Donoho, who graduated from the high school in 1956, donated the books during an afternoon school assembly and talked about his time at Alvaton High. His collection dates back to 1945, according to Morgan Watson, a spokeswoman for Warren County Public Schools. Alvaton Elementary School is the former high school.
Donoho comes from a large family with six siblings, with only one sibling not graduating from the high school. His own children also attended Alvaton Elementary.
As a former Warren County magistrate, Donoho helped the Parks and Recreation department purchase and renovate the old Alvaton High School.
