You know that feeling when you open your mailbox and your favorite fashion magazine is waiting for you.  You run inside and spend hours obsessing over every look and accessory, deciphering what is a must have for your closet and what you wouldn’t be caught dead in.  For the past month, I have had that feeling every time I log onto Pinterest.com.

I’m sure you have seen your friends commenting about this on facebook or overhead two girlfriends talking about it at your local coffee shop.  What this fantastic website does is bring amazing ideas, fashions, and decorating tips to the masses with one clip of a “pin it”!  No matter what your style or aesthetic is, you will find new inspiration on a daily basis.

Thousands of fashionistas each day are able to express their own two cents via their “boards”.  Whether you are obsessed with riding boots, vintage Chanel bags or the latest nail polish, pinning idea to your style boards allows you to be the editor of your own fashion magazine in a sense.   No other website has ever allowed such creativity and self expression with such little effort. Think of this as a blog for visual people. 

Looking for the perfect tailgating outfit? Search it and you’ll find countless possibilities in every team color.   Going on your first date?  Whether its drinks at your favorite pub or a fancy dinner on Saturday night, you’ll be left with dozens of ideas.   Thousands of fabulous outfit combinations are posted for you to obsess over. I find myself putting together new combinations of old favorites from my closet and creating new looks I had never dreamed of. 

I feel that this month’s article should come with a warning.  Once you log on and begin to explore this wonderful new world, you will probably look up and discover 3 hours have passed.  You will physically not be able to tear yourself away from your laptop.  Don’t say I didn’t warn in advance!  Happy Pinning!
