Western Kentucky’s football program earned the commitment Wednesday night of Class of 2018 cornerback Cardavion Myers.

Myers (6-foot, 175 pounds) is a Piedmont, Ala., native and senior at Piedmont High School.

Myers chose WKU over reported scholarship offers from Appalachian State, Arkansas State, Coastal Carolina, Georgia State, Middle Tennessee, South Alabama, Southern Mississippi, Toledo, Troy, Tulane, Alabama-Birmingham and a handful of FCS programs.

247Sports Composite rates Myers as a two-star recruit ranked No. 2,274 overall in the Class of 2018, No. 208 among cornerbacks in his class and No. 78 among Alabama prospects in his class.

Myers is the Hilltoppers’ 22nd Class of 2018 commit. He joins Devin Bell as Alabamians in the class and joins Shannon Bishop, Arthur Brathwaite, Malik Occuir and Jayden Patterson as defensive backs in the class.
