Hot Rods take finale from Beloit
Michael Brosseau had three hits, including a homer, and two RBIs to lead the Bowling Green Hot Rods to a 6-2 victory Sunday at Beloit in the rubber match of a three-game series.
Miles Mastrobuoni and Lucius Fox also had three hits for Bowling Green (13-15), which finished the six-game swing through Wisconsin 3-3.
Adrian Navas earned the win, improving to 2-4 on the season. Navas went five innings, allowing two runs and eight hits with eight strikeouts. Kenny Rosenberg earned the save with four shutout innings, allowing two hits with six strikeouts.
Bowling Green returns home to open a three-game series with Quad Cities (Iowa) at 6:35 p.m. Monday.
Right-hander Enoli Paredes (0-1, 3.55) is scheduled to start for Quad Cities. Right-hander Ethan Clark (0-0, 4.35) is scheduled to start for the Hot Rods.{&end}
