Bowling Green wins boys, overall titles at invitational

Bowling Green captured the boys’ team and overall team titles at Saturday’s Warren County Swim Invitational.

Assumption won the girls’ title.

For Bowling Green, the boys’ 200-yard medley relay team of Neal Morsi, Ethan Taylor, Mei Fukushima and Grady Sine finished first in 1 minute, 44.39 seconds.

The Purples’ Ethan Taylor took first in both the 50 freestyle (24.03) and 100 breaststroke (1:06.85). Morsi was first in the 100 butterfly (53.77), Sine won the 100 free (55.05), Connor Twyman won the boy’s diving competition with 266.80 points and Phillip Khenner won the 500 free (5:11.73).

Bowling Green’s Morsi, Khenner, Connor Creek and Will Reynolds took first in the 400 free relay (3:34.43).

For the Lady Purples, Rachel Harwood won the girls’ diving competition with 170.40 points, Lilly Morris was first in both the 100 butterfly (1:01.17) and 100 backstroke (1:01.93) and Ella Farley won the 100 breaststroke (1:17.11).

Bowling Green’s girls’ 200 free relay of Lilly Morris, Maggie Morris, Reagan Fields and Lilly Malloy won in 1:49.00.
