Warren Central grad Caldwell commits to Utah

Former Warren Central standout guard Kolbe Caldwell announced via Twitter on Monday he has committed to continue his basketball career at the University of Utah.

Caldwell played his freshman season at Lewis and Clark Community College before transferring to Shawnee Community College. At Lewis and Clark, he averaged 9.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per game and shot 38.2 percent from the floor.

The 6-foot-4 guard redshirted last year at Shawnee Community College and will have three years of eligibility at Utah, starting with the 2017-18 season. A member of the Pacific 12 Conference, the Utes went 20-12 last year with a first-round exit in the National Invitational Tournament.

A 2015 graduate of Warren Central, Caldwell was a starting guard for the Dragons in their Region 4 runner-up finish that season.{blockquote class=”twitter-tweet” data-partner=”tweetdeck”}{p lang=”en” dir=”ltr” xml:lang=”en”}Just a kid from Bowling Green.. 🙏🏾 pic.twitter.com/PRhQENDGGZ– KOBE (@nolimitkob0) August 14, 2017{/blockquote} {script charset=”utf-8” type=”text/javascript” src=”http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js”}{/script}{&end}
