Bowling Green-based Houchens Insurance Group ranked high this year on the Best Places to Work in Kentucky list compiled by the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management.

Houchens Insurance Group ranked third, according to a news release. The company, which has multiple locations throughout the state, was included in the “medium companies” category that includes companies with 150 to 499 employees.

It was the sixth straight year for Houchens Insurance Group to make the list, which has been compiled annually for 15 years. 

The Best Places to Work competition is an initiative designed to motivate Kentucky companies to focus, measure and move their workplace environments toward excellence.
