The Econo Lodge in Russellville received the Hotel of the Year Award from Choice Hotels International. The Russellville hotel was selected from more than 750 Econo Lodge locations in the country to receive the award, which was based on customer surveys.

The award recognizes a hotel for its outstanding customer service and operational excellence. The Russellville Econo Lodge had been a finalist for the award in each of the three previous years.

“The Econo Lodge in Russellville consistently goes above and beyond to make travel easier for guests by delivering value, exceptional service and convenience,” said Annie Smith, vice president of brand management and design for Choice Hotels, in a news release.

The Russellville Econo Lodge is owned and managed by Peter and Gita Patel.
