This weekend, find ideas to help turn your home improvement, remodeling and design dreams into reality. The Builders Association of South Central KY presents Home Expo 2010 featuring products and services from builders and designers to landscapers and much more. Participate in special mini-seminars on Saturday covering topics like financing, outdoor living spaces, energy efficiency and color forecasts. On Sunday, children can take part in a special workshop beginning at 1 p.m.

The Expo is open Friday 5-8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.- 8 p.m., and Sunday 12:30- 5 p.m. Admission is $8 per adult, or 2 for $15, and children are free when accompanied by an adult. Call 270-781- 3375 or follow the link below for more information.

Also, get there early on Saturday for Junior Achievement’s Penguin Plunge and watch community members make a splash to benefit literacy programs for area students. The costume parade starts at 10:30 a.m. with the plunge beginning at 11.
