Western Kentucky University’s Recreation Administration program will host its seventh annual Hilltopper Black Bag Classic on April 30 on Nolin Lake.

The fishing tournament will be held in partnership with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Kentucky; all proceeds will benefit the charity.

The tournament will begin at 7 a.m. and end around 1 p.m.  The tournament has a new location this year — Moutardier Boat Ramp on Nolin Lake. Costs are $35 per person or $60 per team (limit two per boat). 

An awards ceremony will begin around 1:30 p.m. at the pavilion next to the boat ramp. Participants will win cash prizes for the three biggest fish caught each hour.

On-site registration will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. April 29 and 4:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. April 30 at Red Roof Barbeque on Moutardier Road (State Highway 2067). Those who register or check-in on April 29 will be entered into a drawing for a prize.
