The 25th Annual Great Turkey Run presented by Midas will take place on Thanksgiving Day, November 25th at Kereiakes Park in Bowling Green. The event will include a chip-timed 5k run and a 3k walk, where participants will compete for medals, custom pottery, whole turkeys, and fresh pies.

Pre-registration is available until 6pm on November 23rd for adults at $20 and dependent children 18 and under can be registered for only $10. The adult fee includes the 2012 BG Road Runner membership and commemorative shirts are guaranteed to all who register by midnight, November 14th.Day-of registration will be available at $30 for adults and $15 for children.

Proceeds from this great family event are the sole source of funding for the Bowling Green Road Runners WKU Scholarships. Since the first run, nearly $60,000 in scholarships has been awarded to WKU student athletes.
