Mountain traditions abound the weekend of Sept. 24-25 during the Great American Dulcimer Convention at Pine Mountain State Resort Park at Pineville.

Guests can enjoy the sweet music of Appalachian lap and hammered dulcimers softly chiming in the hands of some of the finest performers in the country.

Delight to lively, entertaining evening concerts and participate in one-of-a-kind workshops in the midst of legendary dulcimer artists.  A special event package includes accommodations for two nights, two evening buffet meals and admission to all workshop sessions and concerts for $209 single occupancy and $259 double occupancy.  A fee of $8 per person, per evening, applies to non-package participants attending the evening concerts.  The Saturday morning lesson sessions and afternoon concert are free and open to all.
