Sarah Sutton tallied a double-double to lead visiting Allen County-Scottsville to a 50-40 girls’ basketball win Friday over Monroe County.

Sutton finished with game highs of 22 points and 13 rebounds for the Lady Patriots. Mason Towery added 13 points and eight rebounds for ACS (12-11, 3-3 District 15).

Makala Rich scored 21 points to lead Monroe County (12-10).

Allen County-Scottsville is back in action Saturday at home against Apollo.

Edmonson County 51, Grayson County 28

Caitlin Simon scored a game-high 27 points to lead host Edmonson County to a 51-28 girls’ basketball win Friday over Grayson County.

Peyton Martin added 10 points for the Lady Cats, who improved to 20-4 overall and 4-0 in District 12.

Hannah Saltsman had 14 points to lead Grayson County.

Edmonson County is back in action Tuesday at Butler County.
