Ridiculous spending in race for U.S. Senate
Can you believe we have a Senate race in Kentucky where the two candidates will raise $100 million so they can tell us why they need our vote? The average voter in our state doesn’t give one penny to this, as most of the money comes from out of state.
All of this money, and we still have two candidates who can’t agree to a real debate. It should be demanded by Kentuckians that these two money grabbers face each other in eastern, western, northern and southcentral Kentucky so we can hear the four different verses to the same song they sing in each region.
Regardless, one of them will win, and once again the protective layers will go up until another election rolls around.
I’ve never missed an election in my life, but I was thinking about sitting out this race, that is until Honest Gil Fulbright stepped up. Thank goodness. I’ll have to write his name in, but I now have a choice … may even send him some money.
What’s his chance of speaking at Fancy Farm? Slim and none and, well, you know the rest of the line.
When will this insanity stop?
