Glasgow sewer project earns award
The American Council of Engineering Companies’ Tennessee office presented the 2018 Grand Award to Cannon & Cannon Inc. for the sewer overflow abatement project for Glasgow Water Co.
Glasgow Water Co. regularly experienced sewer overflows at seven locations along the Southside Sewer Interceptor during significant rain events. CCI developed a solution to the problem, properly sizing the southside interceptor and increasing its capacity. The total cost of the project was close to $17 million.
