Glasgow Film Society presents The Third Man
Glasgow Film Society will meet on March 15 at 7:00PM for its Monday Night at the Movies Classic movie series. Film historian John Hitchcock will host the evening, introduce his selection, share interesting history and movie trivia and lead the post show discussion. The March movie is director, Carol Reed’s suspenseful thriller, The Third Man.
The film was based on a novel by Graham Greene who also wrote the screenplay. The stellar cast is led by Joseph Cotton in possibly his finest role with Orson Welles and Trevor Howard. This movie will keep you on the edge of your seat! The date to remember is Monday, March 15 at 7:00PM at the Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Library located at 1530 South Green Street in Glasgow.
Glasgow Film Society has no membership dues. Admission is free and includes popcorn and movie snacks. All film enthusiasts are welcome! It’s an opportunity to discover film gems or revisit favorites.
