Fifth Annual Taste of Barren County

The Fifth Annual Taste of Barren County is coming to the Cave City Convention Center on Tuesday evening, October 26, from 6 pm to 8 pm.  This event, sponsored jointly by the Glasgow-Barren County Chamber of Commerce and the Cave City Chamber of Commerce, offers area food businesses and caterers an opportunity to provide a sampling of their products.

Eleven food vendors are expected to be on hand to share samples of their food. Here is a sneak preview of the delicious food to be served at this event:  Herbed Italian Chicken Breast; Roasted Pork Lion with Jus Lie; Homemade Breads and Desserts; Deli Sandwiches on Fresh Baked Bread; BBQ Ribs, Chicken and Pork; Hot Fried Cornbread; Potato Salad; Jolly’s Homemade Chili; Baked Beans and Cole Slaw; Kentucky Bourbon Balls; Southwestern Pork Loin; Fire Engine Pepper Jellie; Fried Shrimp; Strawberry Schaum Torte; Black Cherry Ice Cream; Fried Green Tomatoes; Fried Dill Pickles; Homemade Vegetable Soup; and Grilled Sirloin Prime Rib. If that doesn’t make you hungry, the smell will as you approach the Cave City Convention Center on October 26 for the Annual Taste of Barren County. A cash bar will be available. 

Tickets are currently available for $15 at the Cave City Chamber of Commerce or the Glasgow-Barren County Chamber of Commerce. Mark your calendar today — October 26 for a delicious Taste of Barren County! The doors open promptly at 6:00 pm and not a minute before.
