You’re invited to view stained glass artwork handcrafted by Dr. Bharat Mody of Glasgow, Kentucky at the Glasgow-Barren County Chamber of Commerce. This exhibit is part of the Chamber’s “Celebrating Local Artists” program that regularly showcases work by artists in the Glasgow-Barren County community. Visit Monday-Friday between 8:30am and 4:30pm.

Dr. Mody began working in stained glass as an apprentice of Dr. Al Khatib. He does not claim to be a professional artist, he simply enjoys working with stained glass for others to enjoy. He says he “continues to learn and is improving.” As someone who constantly gives back to the community, Dr. Mody has donated many of his stained glass pieces to charities to be used in fundraising raffles. Fourteen pieces of his stained glass work are now on display at the Chamber.

One piece will be given away at the reception and it, too, is on display at the Chamber. Tickets may be purchased for $2 for one or $5 for three. The drawing will be held on October 12.

A public reception for Dr. Mody will be held on Wednesday, October 12 at the Chamber office from 4:30pm-6pm. Refreshments will be served.
